Xiaomi has introduced its competitive model for the high-end Android tablet market with the launch of Xiaomi Pad 6 in India. The Chinese manufacturer also showcased a range of accessories that will be available alongside the device.
Xiaomi Pad 6 specs and price
The Pad 6 comes with an aluminum body and resembles the design of the Xiaomi 13 series. It features an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Additionally, it offers a vibrant screen with a brightness of 550 nits. The tablet also supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, the Pad 6 includes 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The high-end tablet model features quad speakers that deliver a surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos support.
The new model comes out of the box with MIUI 14 for Pad, based on Android 13. It features a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 13-megapixel main camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Xiaomi has added 4-microphone support to the front camera for video calls.
With a thickness of 6.51mm and weighing 490 grams, the Pad 6 is powered by an 8840mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The new model does not have cellular connectivity options but includes WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C among its supported connections.
Xiaomi offers two color options for its new tablet: Graphite Gray and Mist Blue. The starting price for the tablet with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is around $330.
